Transfer of Technology and Audit Preparedness
We accompany groups seeking to enter the ready-to-use food (RUF) or Super Cereal markets, as well as those seeking to scale-up or optimize existing systems or processes. We strive to achieve a reorientation of all aspects of the supply chain that is more centered on those affected by crisis and are well positioned to support producers of both specialty foods and non-food items operating in countries or regions affected by crisis in adhering to the increasingly stringent due diligence standards and specifications required by the main buyers of their products. Our services include but are not limited to:
Custom plant design
Including land and energy management, light and ergonomics, pest control, flows for raw materials, semi-finished products, production staff, finished products, waste etc, and strategic planning for gradual scale-up of production
Production equipment
Including sourcing and qualification, strategic selection (dimensioning) for easy scale-up, automation, training of personnel and maintenance
Sourcing of raw and packaging materials
Identification of tried and tested suppliers including market, storage, and cash-flow considerations. Centimani Solutions also supports groups seeking to transform locally available raw materials for use in RUF production (i.e. peanuts, cashews etc) creating the potential for an alternative activity with social and economic benefits.
Operations support
Including set-up and support to efficient operation of production facilities in challenging environments, recommendations on efficient use of cash flow and production capacities, materials supply and stock management.
Quality Management Systems
Environmental Management Systems and Social Compliance with a focus on implementation as opposed to certification
Management of non-compliant products
Systems to determine if and when semi-finished and finished products can be reprocessed, documentation and recording of loss, batch/sub-lot identification and traceability, discarding waste according to established social and environmental norms
Warehousing and transfer of stock
Including warehouse design/management, separation of raw and packaging materials from finished products, flows between warehouse and production facility.
Audit preparedness
Pre-inspection support for both food and non-food items, including document review and facility walk-through to ensure production site and staff are well prepared. Associates from Centimani Solutions can also be available during the inspection visit.

Another one of our core service areas is the conceptualization, design, delivery, and evaluation of organizational and operational capacity strengthening programs targeting local and national NGOs engaged in emergency response activities. Together with our collaborating partners, we design and deliver programs benefiting local and national actors using blended learning approaches that include professional coaching and experiential learning for adult professionals across Asia, Africa the Middle East, Latin America and the Caribbean as well as for groups based in Europe and North America.
